This website was created to help educate the public to be aware of the symptoms to watch for Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) the flesh eating bacteria that Shayla has contracted. What you think could be a simple infection might not be. In this case it was misdiagnosed by doctors for 5 days. Those 5 days could make the biggest difference in someone else's life.

was this a cut, bump, bruise, accident or ????? initially? Or, does this just begin out of the blue?
It was from an injection site on her neck getting infected from Strep A bacteria.
